Being an Indian

Being an Indian

Its no fun being an Indian in India unless you belong to schedule caste, schedule tribe, backward class, other backward classes, minority community, linguistic community, regional and local sensas,0r Indian mafia:

Or being in same league as Ambanis,Tatas and Birla and such likes.

These are the people termed as pseudo real Inddians and bestowed all privilages and survival kits ..rest of us have to be Indians of no importance.

Being an Indian in foreign lands is also no fun. You always remain a second class citizen and looked upon as potential terrorist or criminal if you are not really loaded. Or not some one like Hindujas and Naipauls and shahrukh Khans ....

So where the real Indians go?

This has evoked no answer and no one is really bothered to find any ...convenient ignorance of this class ensures stability of the Power of the ruling party.

Almost every one who matters have written us out. We are face less and unclassified lot and there is nothing for us except live our lives on our own terms, fight for survival and sheer spirit that comes in such circumstances.

It is time we start stirring the things up and make the pseudos aware of our existence and the good that we can do to the country. Our own country .There is no other option because these pseudods will just push the country in an abyss of darkness for their own welfare.

So if you are a real Indian, will you raise your hand and say "Aye"?

Lets have a count of hands and then we will proceed to next level...

random thoughts

RANDOM THOUGHTS

...

After 2o years I am writing again for the reason not yet known to me.

But then that has always been the way for me. Doing something irrational and wondering why did what I did..

No one so far has put a 'nut case' label on me, so I think as long as that kind of sanity prevails my actions are justfiably valid.

The random thoughts is an attempt to bring consciously to the surface the thoughts in unconscious mind. If you know what I mean.

It was said by Oscar Wilde that there are only two things a man regrets in his life-time: Not being able to get what he desires and being able to get what he so desires. The regret in second case is more profound. Thats what I have learnt after a long time because it takes a long time to have what you desire, sometimes more than one life time.

The other day I saw a film where a husband kills his wife, surrenders to police confessing his crime and in the court room defending his action as self-defence.

His arguments were such that the judge acquits him

It was a french film called "Poison" termed as farce but very near to the truth. See it, you will like it very much, particularly if you are married.

In sindhi( one of the Indian languages in 8th schedule of the country's constitution) there is a popular saying that 'donkeys dont have horns' I dont have horns and I am sure ,you too dont have but that does not mean that I and you are not donkeys, because there are some, who are, irrespective of the fact that they dont have horns. This thought came at the moment when I saw my carefully invested money in stock market going into smoke.I a mean at one time or the other all of us wonder about it.

I don't know why each individual considers himself to be wiser than the persons he knows and also others whom he does not. Its a common human folly.

Foolishy enough I tried myself to be guided by the experts on markets and followed their advise more than one time and each time I fell flat on my face..so much for the experts..

That does not mean that all experts are as devoid of wisdom as the market predictors but then who needs them if they cant make money for you.

Realising my potential in the field I guided some of friends to invest in certain shares but hesitated myself to invest in the same..so what happens? all of them make money and I curse my expertise..

Selfdoubts are the prime destroyers af ones fortune..that was another lesson I learnt.

There is a tendency of a man to consider women as more stupid than they are particularly when the woman is your wife..My own woman advised me to make exit from the market when the going was too good but as is the case I intended to make hay while the sun shone unaware of the nature which changes its colours so suddenly and abruptly that you dont have a time even to open the umbrella even if you are carrying one.

Now I have caught the financial pneumonia.Yet I have not been able to perceive her more wiser ..and what do you say to that?

Here I recall Oscar Wilde yet once again and had said that women indpire us to do great things but some how prevent us from doing them.

This man surely knew his women.

I dont know. May be its a fixation of some kind and may be a psychologist can analyse it but ....

there are always such 'buts' which stop us in track.

Coming back to the"Poison" ..the man claimed that his wife intended to kill him and could have poisoned him on the day he killed her in 'self defence' before he could have killed her. And if she had killed him then she would be standing before him rather than he.

As there is a tendency to do away with your better half in both the sexes its important to ensure one's survival.

He then called witness from the people attending this particular case..The lady was a good catholic and when asked that at any time the thought had appeared in her mind to put to eternal rest her husband..she admitted and she also told that she had confessed of her morbid thought to the local priest. Ans she asks the priest also present in the court that was it not the fact that lots of people had entered the confession box carying the same morbid thought..poor priest admits that indeed some had.

So our man tells that by killing his wife he has meted out the punishment to her that she would have got from the judge himself if she had suceeded in killing him.He implied that he had done the job for the judge and the judge should be thankful to him.

so was he guilty?

Its a habit with all individuals to attribute their failures to God's wishes and success to their own efforts and wisdom..no matter which religion they may belong to.That settles and satiates to certain extent the guilt of having failed and transferring their acts to the God.

The God as usual keeps smiling..It is in his nature to own up all the sins one on the earth commits.

Those who don't beleive in Him have a problem, a huge one at that. Because in the case of failure they have to admit to their incompetence and lack of wisdom but they, however, manage to transfer their failures to the scheming and cunning opponents and generate hatred and anger towards those who are successful in their endevours. Not that all success is based purely on merit, there are ways to be successful without being competent enough, by using the route of immorality..by bribing, buying, blackmailing and all other ways of which we are fully aware of.

In fact most of the world is run by such acts on the national and international levels by the Governing bodies themselves.

Though all acknowledge the need of corruptionless and moral governing, the rot seems to be spreading among all starata of the society. As soon as one preaching the morality encounters certain serious problems he adopts the same immoral route to extricate himself. None of us is free from this malais.

Mother Teressa had said that "There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point"

But who reaches that point?

So we aare all the members of imperfect society in the imperfect world and nothig is likely to change this. Gods come and go but the world keeps on becoming dirtier by day.

So better to do your best and leave everything to God or Kismet...

Being a good human being may not change the world but it gives one the peace and joy that are not experienced by others who are not.

Ask your self when did you smile with real joy and laughed with happiness..and if the answer is very often than you are a very good human being.

But if you smile at others failures and laugh at others you can never be one. In a long run you may end up with material gains or not but certainly you end up with sadness and unhappiness and ulcers and heart problems..check around, there is enough evidence.

Oscar Wilde said that always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them so much. So true but so difficult to do so..but try this and you would have taken more than your revenge.

It helps again when the situations change and the enemy turns friend then you have the upper hand in the new relationship,no one can have permanent enemies. The equations always change in life. And more over nothing is permanent, except perhaps the God,some thing so abstarct that you cant really verify the veracity of it.But nevertheless you beleive it to be so.However I am not young enough to know every thing as Wilde puts it.Moreover, whenever people agree with me I always feel I must be wrong.
